OUR LEGACY
PIONEERING MOBILITY SOLUTIONS IN YEMEN SINCE 1961
Initial Contact
El Hussaini initiated its first communication with Isuzu Motors.
Official Dealership Agreement
The official agency agreement was signed, and the first order of vehicles—including TX and TD trucks, small buses, and passenger cars—was requested.
Foundation & Infrastructure
Fixed and mobile maintenance workshops were established, alongside the opening of the first branch in Mukalla. (Note: The Aden branch was opened a couple of years later.)
Local Assembly (SKD)
The company began importing vehicles in Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) format. These vehicles were reassembled locally in Yemen under the direct supervision of Japanese Isuzu engineers.
Strategic Relocation
Management relocated the main headquarters to Hodeidah. During this period, the company also appointed sub-distributors in Sana'a and Taiz to expand its reach.
Capital Expansion
The official branch in Sana'a was opened to solidify the company's presence in the capital.
The D-MAX Era
El Hussaini introduced the first Isuzu D-MAX to the Yemeni market, with Isuzu being the pioneer among Japanese companies in modernizing the pickup truck design.
Launch of the MU-X
The company expanded its consumer lineup by introducing the Isuzu MU-X SUV model.
New Headquarters
The main headquarters is transitioning from its old building to a modern, state-of-the-art facility designed to fully meet Isuzu's global exhibition and showroom standards.
